University of Central Lancashire team wins IDM Student Marketing Competition 2013
[28 Jun 2013] “Sunflowers”, a team of undergraduates from the University of Central Lancashire have won the coveted Gold Award in the IDM Student Marketing Competition 2013. IDM Diploma sails through FEDMA accreditation process

Professor Ed Peelen joins editorial board of IDM journal
[17 Jul 2001] The Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) announced today that Professor Ed Peelen has become the latest member of the editorial board for the Institute’s highly regarded journal, Interactive Marketing.
Ed Peelen is Professor of Interactive Marketing at Nyenrode University in the Netherlands, where he is responsible for courses on interactive marketing and in-company programmes on e-business.

Saab wins gold for business performance
[16 May 2001] Saab was last night awarded the gold trophy at the Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM)/Experian Business Performance Award ceremony.
The accolade—the profession's only award to recognise direct marketing's strategic contribution to business performance and competitive advantage—was presented to Saab and agency Lowe Live at the IDM's annual Gala Dinner at the Kensington Garden Hotel, London.
IDM welcomes Bill Cockburn CBE, TD as new president

IDM supports East of England Network’s inaugural event

Alan Mitchell to present IDM Annual Lecture
[01 Feb 2001] Alan Mitchell, the UK’s leading marketing commentator, will present The Institute of Direct Marketing’s (IDM’s) 2001 Annual Lecture. The lecture, called Is your Marketing Worth Buying?, will present a provocatively new view of the challenges facing marketers, as explored in Mitchell’s forthcoming book, Right Side Up: Building Brands in the Age of the Organized Consumer. This year’s Annual Lecture takes place in Manchester on 5 March and in London on 6 March.

IDM launches direct marketing qualifications in Australia and Hong Kong
[17 Feb 2000] The Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) is set to launch the IDM Postgraduate Diploma in Direct Marketing in Australia and Hong Kong and the new IDM Certificate in Direct Marketing (in Hong Kong only) in March this year. In advance of the direct promotion of the qualifications in the regions, half of the spaces on the Certificate and a third of the spaces on the Diploma in Hong Kong have already been filled.
