IDM and Marketing Society recruit most authoritative speaker line-up ever to prove marketing’s value in the Boardroom

Released 09 February 2006: On 6-7 June the IDM and the Marketing Society will present one of the most authoritative ever speaker line-ups to tackle what is arguably marketing’s most challenging issue. The title of the IDM/Marketing Society Symposium 2006 is "Proving marketing’s value in the Boardroom". Its aim is not only to help marketers demonstrate their true worth, but also empower their marketing to drive corporate strategy.

The conference will run over two days: the first examining the true value of marketing, through brand and customer equity; the second focusing on the direct, data and digital strategies that deliver top-line growth. Senior business and marketing leaders will argue that if marketers are to gain the recognition and influence they deserve, they must start proving their true worth. The international cast of 30 speakers will also describe new tools and practices by which marketers can find and deliver new value to the top line.
