IDM and Precision Marketing join forces for Symposium 2003

Released 06 March 2003: The Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) today announced it has joined forces with Precision Marketing (PM) to create the 2003 Annual IDM Symposium. The two organisations will work jointly to create the programme for this seminal two-day event and to promote it to a worldwide audience of senior direct and interactive marketing professionals.

Centaur, Precision Marketing’s publisher, and the IDM have an established history of working together since PM’s sister title, Marketing Week, has always produced the book of the night for the IDM’s Business Performance Award which is announced on the evening of the IDM Symposium.

Professor Derek Holder, Managing Director of the IDM says, "The IDM Symposium has established a tradition of delivering leading edge marketing thinking delivered by truly world class speakers. Now, with Precision’s reach we will continue in that tradition and access a greater share of the market place."

The IDM Symposium takes place on 17 and 18 June in London. Speakers will be announced at www.theidm.com.
