IDM announces new e-marketing courses

Released 28 January 2001: The Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) has announced the introduction of five new e-marketing courses to complement its existing range of professional training. The courses deliver the practical aspects of new media marketing and run over one or two days. The development of the new courses follows the IDM's latest marketing skills need assessment.

The courses are New Media and the Law, The Absolute Essentials of E-Marketing, Successful E-Marketing Strategies, Practical E-Marketing and Effective E-Mail Marketing. Each delivers different levels and aspects of the new marketing methodologies.

Director of Professional Short Courses, Liz Bryant Heron, says, "The IDM has developed these courses to 'upskill' the seasoned direct marketer for successful e-marketing and to prepare newcomers to the profession for all the demands which the new media landscape will place upon them. Equipped with the knowledge which these courses deliver, delegates will markedly improve the effectiveness of their online marketing initiatives."

New Media and the Law pilots on 14 December, and all five courses run in February 2001. To find out more, visit www.theidm.com/training or call the Professional Short Courses department on +44 (0)20 8614 0277.
