IDM appoints four new Fellows at Annual Lunch
Released 10 February 2003: 10 February 2003: The IDM announced the appointment of four new Honorary Fellows at its 2003 Annual Lunch.
This year, Simon Waugh, Deputy Managing Director of British Gas and Group Director of Marketing, at Centrica, Adrian Rowe, Managing Director of RED C and Keith Mills, Chairman of LMUK were each presented with an Honorary Fellowship certificate by Adam Novak, Managing Director of Royal Mail Media Markets. Out-going Chairman, David Payne, was also made an Honorary Fellow in a surprise presentation by the Annual Lunch's host, John Watson F IDM.
A Fellow is an individual, from the UK or overseas, who has rendered exceptional services, either to the Institute's educational mission in particular or to the direct marketing profession in general. Fellowship is the Institute's way of recognising this endeavour and achievement on behalf of the direct marketing profession.
The awards were made by Adam Novak, Managing Director of Royal Mail Media Markets, at the IDM Annual Lunch, held at London's Millennium Britannia Hotel on 7 February. Guest speaker at the event was Keith Mills, Chairman of LMUK.
