“Identifying and Leveraging your B2B Influencers in a Web 2.0 world”, sponsored by data and digital B2B marketing specialists, Cyance, runs on October 22 and is the direct result of delegate feedback from the IDM’s B2B Marketing Conference earlier this year.

“Influencer Marketing was the highest rated topic at the 2009 B2B conference and the face-to-face feedback we received confirmed that it’s an area that today’s B2B marketers are keen to learn more about” says IDM Membership Director, Caroline Robertson.

Speakers are Duncan Brown, Managing Director of Influencer50 Ltd and client Lisa Hutt, EMEA Programs Director at salesforce.com, who together will explore how to identify the key influencers involved in B2B buying decisions; how best to engage with them, get them on-side and, ultimately, leverage their authority. Using real-world influencer marketing examples that show demonstrable impact on the business, they will reveal:

  • why B2B professionals should engage with market influencers
  • where influencers can be found
  • practical ways to enhance existing influencer relationships
  • the key influencer marketing tools and their application
  • how to improve B2B lead generation and retention rates

Steve Kemish, Director of event sponsor, Cyance comments:
“With 80% of sales over $20K being impacted by five or more influencers, and from an ever-increasing number of sources, this is a great opportunity to find out how leading marketers are adapting to, and profiting from, a new, and still-changing, B2B landscape.”

“Identifying and Leveraging your B2B Influencers in a Web 2.0 world” takes place in central London on Thursday October 22. For more information about the event and speakers, please visit the event page.
