IDM event proposes new digital thinking

Released 29 June 2009: The IDM Digital Marketing Council has announced the first in a series of networking events that put the focus on best practice digital marketing. The first, presented by Council members Daniel Rosen, Managing Director of AKQA Mobile and Nick Emmel, Planning Director, Dare, sets the scene by asserting that digital thinking is the way to achieving great digital marketing.

The Callcredit sponsored event, on July 15, sees Daniel Rosen discuss “3 ways that mobile will change marketing forever”. Nick Emmel presents “Ideas that can be advertised, not advertising ideas”.

IDM Digital Council Chair Steve Kemish F IDM comments:
“This is a great event to kick off the digital networking series. Our speakers make the valid reminder that marketers didn’t invent digital. Rather, it’s a digital world, in which we must adapt our marketing strategies to stay relevant to today’s consumers.”

Both speakers will draw on their own experiences with clients such as Nike, Coca-Cola, GAP and Vodafone providing case studies.
