IDM honours new Fellows at Annual Lunch
Released 23 November 2000: The Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) has announced the appointment of five new Fellows at its Annual Lunch event.
Ken Burnett, founder of Burnett Associates; Mark Fiddes, Creative Director at Davies Little Cowley Fiddes; Clive Humby, co-founder of DunnHumby Associates; Eddie Shotton, founder of Mailcom; and Neil Woodcock, the Qci consultant, were each presented with a certificate by IDM Chairman David Payne. A sixth honorary Fellow, the late Michael York Palmer, was recognised earlier this month.
IDM Fellowships are awarded to direct marketing professionals. Each of this year's new Fellows was awarded the accolade following their nomination and a subsequent vote by the IDM's Founder Members, Fellows, Council and Trust.
Guest speaker at the IDM's Annual Lunch, held today at London's Millennium Britannia Hotel, was Catherine Taylor, Marketing Director at Yahoo! UK & Ireland.
