IDM launches latest weapon in its assault on digital marketing skills shortage
Released 14 March 2006: As part of its mission to address the industry’s shortage of skilled digital marketers, the IDM is launching a comprehensive 3-day course designed to provide a thorough grounding in digital marketing skills, tools and techniques. Complete Digital Marketing will run for the first time on 29-31 March, and takes the IDM digital training portfolio into double figures.
The new course is aimed at those who are new to digital marketing – or those who wish to extend their existing marketing knowledge to include digital skills. Like all IDM courses, Complete Digital Marketing will be delivered by some of today’s leading practitioners, all of whom bring real personal experiences and case studies to the course.
The full course programme can be found at www.theidm.com/digitalmarketing and it promises to teach delegates how to:
- devise and integrate online strategies
- manage and execute successful digital campaigns
- gather, source and manage digital data
- apply the full range of e-marketing tools – from search engines to banner ads; from email to SMS
- measure, monitor and control digital campaigns
- deliver results
IDM Programme Director, Joanna King says: "Digital is the fastest developing marketing channel in history, but its maturity has reached a stage that the time is now right for a course that’s both broad-based and thorough. The demand for marketers who understand how to devise and deliver effective digital marketing campaigns is at an all-time high. Complete Digital Marketing will enable delegates to do exactly that from the moment they walk away."
Complete Digital Marketing launches on 29 March. Those wishing to book a place or simply to find out more can do so at www.theidm.com/digitalmarketing, or, for the full list of IDM digital marketing courses, visit www.theidm.com/digcourses.
