IDM TroubleShooter is a fast and hassle-free consultancy scheme for companies seeking better results from their direct and interactive marketing programmes. IDM TroubleShooter's consultants include Brian Thomas, Martin Boddy, Tim Dearing and Iain McConnachie.

Clients using the service simply specify their requirements. IDM TroubleShooter then costs the project and assigns one or more of its consultants to the job. In most cases it will be able to commence consulting in a matter of days from the initial brief.

IDM TroubleShooter has been developed in response to a rise in requests for rapid and results-driven consultancy from the IDM. Previous clients in this category include Trinity Media, which describes the IDM Consultancy and advice as 'invaluable' and Yell, a spokesperson for which says, "IDM Consultants helped us convince senior management of the need for a customer-focused approach."

Fidelma Haverty, Director of In-Company Training at the IDM says, "While the performance of direct marketing in most organisations is impressive there is always room for improvement. However many organisations are reluctant to look outside their marketing departments for new ideas because of the time required and the costs incurred. IDM TroubleShooter is the answer to all three; it offers senior and experienced consultants at competitive costs and within very short time frames. In short it is a low-risk solution which will reap high rewards."

IDM TroubleShooter offers a range of flexible consultancy solutions. It offers two-day, four-day and two-week packages with flexibility over how the time is apportioned. Consultancy solutions range from writing tactical marketing plans for discrete products to redefining an organisation's marketing and sales strategy.
