IDM offers free training at Internet World
Released 13 June 2005: Next week, for the second year running, the IDM Academy will be a major exhibition feature at Internet World. The Internet World IDM Academy consists of a series of executive briefings, offered free to exhibition delegates, on a wide range of digital and direct marketing subjects.
Following the same successful format as last year, the free 30-minute sessions will run every half hour, from 10.15am to 4.45pm on each of the 3 exhibition days. Content will be from current IDM training courses and sessions will be presented by the same expert direct marketing practitioners who deliver the courses at the IDM. Session topics include:
- search marketing
- e-mail legislation
- mobile
- online creativity
- e-catalogues & e-magazines
- online customer acquisition
- integrating on- and offline activity
- web metrics
Joanna King, IDM Programme Director, says: "We’re delighted to be presenting the IDM Academy at Internet World for the second time. Our aim is that this year, even more digital marketers will leave the exhibition with new and practical knowledge that they can put to good use the moment they are back at their desk."
Places at the IDM Academy will be offered free to exhibition visitors and will be operated on a simple walk-in basis. All visitors to the Academy will be given a pack of training vouchers for redemption against selected IDM courses.
