IDM releases details of inaugural Graduate Hothouse
Released 07 June 2004: The IDM today releases details of its inaugural Graduate Fast Track which promises to take its top 30 applicants to the upper rungs of the recruitment ladder this summer. The programme features presentations from the UK's leading brands and agencies and is sponsored by MBNA, Time Life, first direct, EHS Brann and Tullo Marshall Warren.
The 30 graduates taking part were selected following an intensive application process that involved a series of written tests, interviews and presentations. In all 204 students, from 75 of the UK's 104 universities applied for the IDM Graduate Fast Track coming from a range of academic disciplines including Marketing and Business studies, Biochemistry, Art History and Linguistics.
The one-week intensive programme includes presentations by:

- Huw Davis, European Managing Director, EHSBrann Discovery

- Lisa Thomas, Chief Executive, Lida
- Mike Sims, Client Services Partner, Partners Andrews Aldridge
- Natalie Brooking, Marketing Graduate, Vodafone
- Nick McConnell, Sales and Marketing Director, Broadsystem
- Professor Derek Holder, Managing Director, the IDM
- Stephen Robinson, Head of Sales and Marketing, first direct
- Stuart Archibald, Managing Partner, archibald ingall stretton
- Tracy Hughes, Head of Personnel, MBNA Europe
The IDM Graduate Fast Track incorporates a case study from a leading brand and will school the graduates through all the tools and techniques of effective direct, data and digital marketing.
It also includes a visit to agency Tullo Marshall Warren and concludes with presentations by the students to representatives of the sponsoring organizations.
