Launch of new eCRM course takes IDM digital training to 50% of the Institute’s offering
Released 05 November 2009: The launch of a new eCRM training course from the Institute of Direct Marketing means that digital marketing courses now account for half of the IDM’s training output, underlining the still-growing importance of digital as a direct marketing channel.
“eCRM for Marketers” joins the IDM portfolio from November 25. Its addition is not merely a reflection of the huge technological advances in recent years, but is also an indication, when recession has made it necessary to justify every marketing penny, of the important role technology plays in making marketing even more accountable.
Felix Velarde, course tutor and Managing Director at eCRM specialists, Underwired (part of Amaze plc), comments:
“The launch of this new course couldn’t come at a better time. Applying the principles of CRM to web marketing can yield revolutionising and completely trackable commercial – and financial – results. The course will teach the methods behind eCRM programmes which increased digital channel revenues for the Sun’s Fantasy Football League by 93.5%, and show why the eCRM campaign for McCain Foods means brand consideration is up 52%.”
“eCRM for Marketers” will deliver delegates all the essential information to establish and implement an effective eCRM campaign, including how to plan, schedule and cost an eCRM programme, estimate returns, set targets, select suppliers and evaluate results.
The first course will run at a specially reduced launch price on Wednesday 25 November at the IDM offices in Teddington. View more details and booking information »
