New IDM course reveals the secrets of m-commerce to marketers
Released 04 December 2000: The essential marketing techniques for the mobile channel are explained in the latest Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) short course, M-Commerce for Marketers. This one-day skills session will be taught by James Matthewson, Managing Director of Shrinkingearth.net, and Christopher Wilton, founder of CGL Technology Ltd.
The course will explore successful m-commerce strategies and explains how to integrate them effectively with an existing e-marketing strategy.
The IDM's Director of Professional Short Courses, Liz Bryant Heron, says, "WAP gets a bad press, not because the technology is poor, but because many marketing practitioners lack the necessary knowledge to make it work. Developing the profession's mobile marketing know-how alongside the technology will ensure direct marketers are able to deliver the early promises of m-commerce."
The one-day course will be piloted on 2 February 2001 and will run again on 27 March; further dates are also planned. To book, visit www.theidm.com or call +44 (0)20 8614 0277.
