New IDM workshop demystifies DM services for client marketers
Released 21 August 2003: The IDM has created a new two-day workshop to help buyers of DM services improve the deals they make and avoid costly mistakes. The course, which runs on 9 and 10 October, has been developed to demystify direct marketing for client marketers in particular and to encourage greater transparency across the direct marketing marketplace.
The highly practical and interactive two-day workshop is for anyone responsible for buying DM services and managing DM suppliers. Working in small groups and with real life campaign examples delegates will be guided through each stage of a campaign from scheduling and finding the right suppliers, to briefing and monitoring performance.
Course tutors Michael Coveney, Director of GWC and Jane Cave, Consultant will impart invaluable advice about how to save money, how to stay on schedule and the pitfalls to avoid. Particular emphasis will be given to buying creative services, lists, print, personalisation and lettershop services.
Buying DM Services runs on 9 and 10 October at the IDM in Teddington. Course fees are £695 + VAT for IDM members and £795 + VAT for non-members. For more information visit www.theidm.com/training or call 020 8614 0277.
