Peter Simpson promises twenty marketing predictions at first ever IDM Members’ Convention
Released 09 October 2006: Peter Simpson F IDM, former Commercial Director with First Direct, now Chairman of data agency, Data Lateral, is to be the keynote speaker at the inaugural IDM Members’ Convention on 15 November. Simpson promises twenty predictions for the future of marketing over the next five years and heads a high profile speaker line-up, uniquely composed exclusively of IDM members.
The event, entitled "Celebrating today’s profession. Building tomorrow’s business" is a first for the IDM and has been developed as part of the Institute’s 20th anniversary celebrations which began in September. The Convention is the first ever IDM event to be designed and staged by IDM members for IDM members - a select group of senior marketers, between them responsible for an estimated £2.3billion of marketing expenditure per annum.
Speakers have been selected for their expertise and ability to inspire, and topics chosen for their pertinence, value and capacity to stimulate. Keynotes include:
