The workshop features the latest version of MOSAIC, the consumer lifestyle classification system. It includes a presentation by Richard Webber, one of the original developers of the system.

Other presentations cover related disciplines including geodemographics, marketing channels, consumer attitudes and psychographics. And Mark Chivers, Head of Strategy Development and Research from Boots will be demonstrating how Boots uses MOSAIC in its marketing and customer management strategy.

Robert Haslingden, Head of Marketing - Business Strategies Division of Experian comments, "As well as being a useful tool for established marketers, MOSAIC can also be used as a teaching tool through which students can learn in some detail about segmentation. We are delighted to be working with the IDM to help academics teach with MOSAIC and so doing our bit to nurture the next generation of direct and interactive marketers."

The IDM Experian MOSAIC workshop for academics takes place on Wednesday 11 February at Embankment House, Nottingham between 11:00 and 16:00.
