Frequently asked questions

The IDM has delivered bespoke training solutions for more than 12 years. Here are some of the questions we are most frequently asked:
How do you make sure delegates pick up the knowledge and skills most relevant to their jobs?
We start by analysing your training needs and marketing competences. We then select case histories that demonstrate best practice in your sector and establish how these can relate to your environment. We also encourage personal confidence through participation in solo and group assignments, all of which receive constructive feedback.
Where will the training take place and how long will it take until course delivery?
Course timing and location are up to you—use your own premises, our purpose-built training suites in Teddington or an external venue. Courses usually take 4-6 weeks to deliver from agreement of the training needs.
Where would I look for immediate benefits of the programme?
You'll notice an immediate improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of their work as your team will be newly motivated and begin to pay back your investment straight away. Our in-house programmes are created to advance the learning curve much faster than on-the-job training.
What is the minimum class size?
In order to make in-company cost effective, the IDM recommends a class size of between 8 – 16 delegates per session.
What about the cost?
IDM in-company training is costed on a course by course basis. Costs vary based on the trainers used and the level of tailoring required. However as the training is entirely relevant, there's no wastage. Larger groups also mean greater economies of scale.
How sensitive are your programmes to company culture?
We help individuals to understand better how their responsibilities fit into the bigger organisational picture. That way they become better attuned to their own performance against expectation. We respect your culture and work to reinforce it. There’s additional support available through our coaching and mentoring scheme.
