Each year, the IDM invites a world-leading marketer, business leader or visionary to inspire and challenge members’ thinking. The lecture provides a measure against which to test your strategic assumptions and planning for the coming year.

Since the first presentation of this event in 1996 (given by Ian Page, right), the Annual IDM Lecture has predicted the rise of the Internet as a marketing opportunity, the changing relationship between customer and vendor, new uses of customer information, the fall and rise of e-commerce, and much more—and always ahead of mainstream thinking and reporting.
