The award-winning John Lewis web site is visited by millions of customers each month and has grown consistently at above market rates since its inception in 2001.

In a candid presentation, David Walmsley reveals some of the secrets behind the retailer’s online success.

Macmillan Cancer Support is one of the UK’s biggest and best loved charity brands. Its mission is to reach and improve the lives of people living with cancer, providing practical, medical, emotional and financial support. Reaching a target audience that spans all ages and demographics is challenging, especially when some of those most in need are the most disconnected.

You will learn:

  • about Macmillan’s brand challenge in a world where the needs of people living with cancer have changed
  • how Macmillan Cancer Support is applying a customer-insight driven market model to reach and improve the lives of the 2 million people living with cancer in the UK today
  • how Macmillan has been integrating on and offline marketing to target the most difficult to reach audiences
  • about some of the innovation in online service delivery that Macmillan is developing as a core part of its service development strategy
