IDM Graduation Ceremony 2014
Congratulations to all 600 marketers who graduated with an IDM professional qualification this year. It’s an achievement that can never be overstated and one of which you should be justifiably proud. We hope your new qualification will serve you well in all your endeavours going forward, and we wish you all the very best for the future.

Edwina, in partnership with her husband, Clive Humby, are the founders of dunnhumby, the company behind Tesco’s Clubcard, My Kroger Plus and other loyalty programmes around the world. They founded dunnhumby in their back bedroom in 1989 and by the time they retired in 2011, it had grown to an organisation of 1500 people, reaching 350m customers in 25 countries. They are now exploring the future of customer understanding and engagement in a range of areas. Currently, Edwina is Chief Operating Officer at Starcount (a global social media discovery engine where fans can be rewarded for their loyalty and engagement. It tracks 1.7 billion people across 12 major global social networks). She is also an investor in Purple Seven (the UK's largest Theatre Analytics Company, managing some 19 million consumers) and founder of the What I See Project (a not-for-profit platform around women's perception that seeks to amplify their voices and self-confidence).
Professor David Miles
Professor of Business Education (Emeritus), former Dean of the Kingston Business School and Pro Vice-Chancellor at Kingston University. David Miles sponsored the initial development of direct marketing education at Kingston University with Professor Derek Holder over thirty years ago, and has been a Trustee of the IDM since its inception.
