Since 1st May the DM Trust and the IDM have together invested £600,000 into the data & marketing industry, offering over 450 free courses & qualifications to people who have been furloughed or made redundant as a result of Covid-19. Due an overwhelming response we are unable to take any further applications at this point in time.
The IDM and DM Trust have created the DM Trust Home Learning Fund to fully fund study for furloughed employees and those made redundant due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The DM Trust, a charitable organisation that provides funding and support to projects across the data and marketing industry, will invest an initial £100k as the Fund kicks off.
Applicants can apply funding against the full portfolio of DMA Hub options for individuals, with virtual classroom & online self-study options, including Short Courses to longer form Professional Qualifications.
All IDM Home Learning options are served digitally in environments designed to give people total flexibility in how to learn, and the opportunity to study in connected ways that bridge gaps to friends and colleagues.
You must book your place and training start date between 1 May and 31 July 2020.
Here’s how it works:

How to apply
Once you have selected the relevant course or qualification, contact the IDM via an enquiry form on the relevant product page, or email firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line ‘DM Trust Home Learning Fund’, outlining the course you have selected.
This will trigger an IDM advisor to reach out to you to confirm the suitability of the course selected and to process your free booking.
There is a limited amount of funding available and we are expecting a high volume of enquiries. To ensure your request is processed as quickly and efficiently as possible please include as much information as you can in your initial enquiry.
“Skills development is a great way for staff on furlough and those made redundant to enhance their long-term personal development.
“This new fund gives us a real chance to aid the wellbeing of people affected by the economic crisis, at a time of physical separation,” added Andy Dorling, General Manager at the IDM.
