What is Summer School?
Apply for the IDM Marketing Summer School, and you could be one of just 30 specially selected candidates to get an exciting, week-long introduction to the marketing industry.
During the week you will…
- Work on a live client brief, set by a top industry brand.
- Gain industry insights by attending talks from leading marketers.
- Visit a global marketing agency and meet senior agency teams.
- Attend a networking evening with senior marketing professionals – who could be your future employers!
Who can apply?
Students interested in a career within advertising, digital or direct marketing. Entries are open to final year students and postgraduates studying any degree discipline.
What you need to know:
Summer School is completely free to attend. The programme takes place during 26-30 June 2017 in Central London. All accommodation and meals for the week will be provided by the IDM.
We’ll get you stuck into a client brief (previous Summer Schoolers have come up with campaigns for the likes of EasyJet, Microsoft, The Economist and Bacardi) and networking with some of marketing’s top VIP’s. Summer School is industry recognised and looks great on a CV. Past attendees have gone on to work for some of the biggest names in marketing such as Ogilvy, MediaCom, Havas helia, RAPP, Saatchi & Saatchi and Virgin Media.
How to apply:
To apply you will need to complete the Summer School application form. The closing date for applications is 17th February 2017.
