Anyone who wants to progress their career in marketing and take away practical advice that can be implemented instantly should take the IDM's Professional Diploma in Direct and Digital Marketing. Spending a few days away from my normal working environment to attend the course at the IDM headquarters allowed me the opportunity to broaden my knowledge, talk to like-minded peers and be taught by engaging industry professionals who are in the business every day. Having access to this meant I returned to work refreshed and able to impart knowledge and implement what I had learned. Taking time out to reflect on one's daily habits is a useful exercise for anyone to take, with the "Hack" team, the advantage is the facilitators are nurturing and gentle in their approach, wanting each participant to get the best from the day in a non-judgement way.
